Hungary has a great and vivid history! In case you are interested in the historical points of town the best is to start from Heroes' Square!

With all the lively information we get here - not just the dry facts - we may start the rest of the tour more confidently with important details and basic knowledge already by heart: now we will understand the reason why some places and names are so significant for us Hungarians. You can get to know the heroes' of Hungarian history, from the founding father of our land to the 19th century.

We may visit two of Budapest's major exhibition halls: the Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Hall located on two opposite sides of the Heroes' Square.

Taking a step further, the gigantic Time Wheel is what we see next: it is a monumental, 60-ton structure!

Afterwards we may get a sour taste of what communism used to mean in this country. On 1956ers Square you may listen to astonishing stories about a period that is still a distressing memory for the elder generation.

Finally we take a walk under ancient trees, getting to know the Millennium era, which used to be the most productive period in the architectural life of the capital over a hundred years ago.
