To begin our second tour we exit the Jewish Museum to walk around the cemetery of the synagogue. There was a decorative well planned to be built here and also a pool, but due to historical events it became a rather shocking memorial place of history: the columns of Raoul Wallenberg park commemorate the heroes of the holocaust; each leaf of the tree represents a lost soul. This sad memorial walk ends at the statue of Carl Lutz .

During our walk we may get a better idea of the major wings of the Jewish religion, visit the Rumbach Synagogue, under repair but a great example of a traditionally constructed synagogue, and then take a walk in the old Jewish merchants' street, Király Street.

In the mean time we may listen to the secrets of kosher cuisine and here, really far from the common tourist routes, we can also taste genuine kosher confectionary products. If you're really hungry, you can eat at a modest but excellent quality kosher restaurant that normally expects regulars only.

Reaching the end of our walk, we pass by the orthodox synagogue of Kazinczy Street, where we shall understand how kosher "living" water gets into the mikve, the ritual Jewish spa, and its link with traditional family life.

The tour is NOT recommended to be taken on Saturdays, since most of the scenes are closed on that day!
